Righto, so I've been lazy as and haven't written up in months!! Kind've forgot...
Anyway here's a little recap of the last few places (15 or so....)
Bondi Tonys - Bondi
Cool little joint a few streets off bondi beach! The place gives me the vibes of a music bar. Burger was solid, crazy soft bun, beef and cheese done well. It was quite saucy but pretty tasty. That bun tho woweeee.

Hungry Brown Cow - Pollo Escobar
HBC, everytime we go its an experience. Urbun bakery buns (elite). Juicy chicken thigh, lettuce, fried shallots (very interesting and adds a good crunch) the kicker here is the jalapeño sauce. Good spice and adds something unique to a chicken burger. I dig it

Sneaky Burger Co - Off menu pulled brisket
Yeah so we got looked after here, fuck this was good. Bacon, smash pattie, cheese, jalapeno and the special item PULLED BRISKET. so yeah this was really really good. I rated this highly. But as it w'y on the menu and available to everyone I felt unfair giving it a rating (high 8s for me). This hasn't stopped people asking for it but

Mookie - Mookie Deluxe
So we went back for a re review as last time we took it home and it probably wasn't a true indication of the burger! Pickles, onion, pattie, cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato and an aioli sauce. Normally not the biggest fan of lettuce and tomato on a cheeseburger but this was pretty good! soft bun and this all just works. Hot tip the sides here are ELITE like next level. Tuggeranong folk get around it

His Boy Elroy - Cheeseburger
Once again super soft milk bun a great start. Good pickles, white onion, good juicy patties. All around just a solid cheeseburger, presented well and tasted great. One of those burgers you look like you get and it'll be the same every time, which i respect. Wasn't doing anything extraordinary but did it jobs

Brodburger - Rib Burger (special)
So this burger caused a bit of a stir with me. I had maybe 10 messages of people telling me its the best burger they've ever eaten, and I can see why. For me I was just unlucky. The piece of beef rib i got was just full of a large lump of fat that hadn't broken down. Which ruined the burger for me. It had everything else right, solid bun, a great BBQ sauce and typical slaw. For me I was just unlucky with the cut of meat. You get that on the big jobs sometimes

BZB - Hick Chicken
This place just gets burgers, everything they do it solid. So far I haven't had a bad burger from there. Also got to meet the GOAT of food in Aus Sir Issac Eats-a-lot. What a legend, he was down reviewing my top 5 which is pretty surreal. Anyway back to the burger, great chicken burger, thigh meat, lettuce, cheese and a great bbq sauce and aioli. Oh and bacon, you can't go wrong

Third Eye Grill - Double Cheeseburger
So this is a little takeaway joint. Straight away I was expecting your typical takeaway style burger. But I was pleasantly surprised. Got to meet up with CBRs own Phaturday (legend) and his son. What we got was a beautifully soft potato bun, thick cut long pickles, red onion and some THICC juicy burger patties. For a takeaway option on a wednesday night, it was like $16 with chips and a drink. Goodluck finding that anywhere else. My tip... only get a single pattie it'll be enough

Noshers - Double Cheezit
So these are the new kids on the block. A quiet little food fan sitting on the top level of westfield belconnen. Not behd at all. But what we do need to talk about is the price. $11 for a double cheesburger. STOP IT AND TAKE MY MONEY NOW. If you're after a good solid cheesburger that isn't overpriced, get to belco now. Solid all round burger that doesn't miss much at all. Decent sides available too for a food truck. Give it a go, they're new and doing good things

Burger Villains - Mark Truffalo
One of my favourite burgers in recent times. Im not the biggest fan of doing specials becuase normally they are fucking good and you can't get them all the time. But this, this was something else for the canberra burger scene. The truffle sauce was devine, outstanding smash patties (yeah I got a double) great pickles and an Urbun bakery potato roll. Stop me now im in heaven. Delicious. Hopefully it makes a fulltime comeback to the menu

HBC - Barney Rubble
As above, you go to Hungry Brown Cow you know what to expect. For me this was a very good burger, but maybe a bit much going on with the size of the patties. Red onion, double melted cheese, lettuce, aioli, diced pickles, tomato sauce and the OG Urbun Bakery Bun cannot go wrong. For me Im a sucker for the Kevin Bacon. But you want something big a juicy, wrap ya mouth around this.

Oscys - Charlie Brown Cheeseburger
So had to go back given we were in the area and try Oscys again. I was kind've disappointed for the $15 price tag, its a pretty basic cheeseburger and doesn't do anything amazing. But also on their menu I don't think its the number one seller. So I can understand. But word Ive got back is add a hasbrown. Wish i knew...

Little Theos - Hula Chook
Well well well, look whos back. Had to give the chicken burger a go after the last time we were here and I crowned these guys as the number 1 burger in cbr. Fuck they just know how to make a good burger. And the owner Anthony is clearly super passionate about his burger and food in general. Spent an hour talking to us and would probably do the same to anyone else. Juicy chicken thigh with a schnitzel type coating, Portuguese chilli mayo, really gets the tongue tingling. and the fresh pineapple is the sweetness required to balance it all out. Get around it.
